Let us do the driving!

Taking a bus can save you money and remove the stress of driving in traffic. Use the Google Transit Planner to find the best route for you or try out an app like Transit App that makes it easy to plan on the go.

How to Ride:

Go cashless! Clipper Card is accepted on almost all transportation services throughout the Bay Area. Load cash on your card at Walgreens, select grocery stores, ticket machines, or online. For more information and discounts, visit Clipper Card.

Marin Transit runs buses within the county. Discounted fares are available for youth, seniors, and riders with disabilities. Visit Marin Transit for more information about bus routes, other services, and fares. College of Marin Students even ride free!

Golden Gate Transit offers regional bus service connecting Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, and the East Bay. Discounts are available for seniors, youth, riders with disabilities, and those receiving Medicare. Visit Golden Gate Transit for more information on bus schedules and fares.

Park & Ride:

Don’t live close to a transit stop? You can park your car for free and connect with a bus going your way. There are numerous Park & Ride lots in Marin and the greater Bay Area. To find out more, visit 511’s Park & Ride map.

Services for seniors and people with disabilities:

Marin Access provides transit services and information for Marin’s older adults, people with disabilities, and low-income residents, including paratransit service to those unable to use a fixed route service due to injury, illness or disability. To find more information on programs and eligibility, visit Marin Access or call 415-454-0902 to speak with a Travel Navigator.
