Did you know Marin County now has more electric vehicle chargers than gas stations? With a growing network of charging stations and fast chargers available, charging your EV has never been easier.

Switching from a traditional gas-powered vehicle to an EV is a great decision economically and for the environment. With greater travel range and affordability, EVs are becoming more and more convenient.

Federal Tax Credit – Federal tax credits are available for eligible plug-in electric vehicles. Tax credits vary depending on the EV battery type. Talk with your tax professional about which credits may be applicable to you.

State Clean Vehicle Rebates – There are several programs available from various providers depending on your residence.

High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lane Access – EVs qualify for a Clean Air Vehicle (CAV) decal, which allows an EV access to HOV lanes in California. The California DMV issues these decals and provides detailed information on decal eligibility and application.
