- Take your first-ever transit trip or of the year during September for a bonus entry to the grand prize drawing!
Go for the Grand Prize
Log at least 12 trips in September for a chance to win the grand prize: one of three $100 gift cards!
How it Works:
- Register or login to Marin Commutes Rewards
- Log at least 12 transit trips (bus, train, or ferry) in September
- Take your first-ever transit trip or first of the year and log it as part of your 12 trips, you’ll get a bonus entry!
- Review local transit options or use the transit planning tool in your Rewards account
- Winners to be announced in early October.
Share Your Transit Story
Share your September transit journey with us! This month, we’ll give away $25 gift cards to the first three storytellers who share their experience with taking the bus, train, or ferry in Marin.
- Follow us on social media: @marincommutes on X and Facebook, and @marin_commutes on Instagram.
- Tag Marin Commutes and the transit provider. Include the hashtag #MarinCommutes in a post about your transit commute and your experience with Marin Commutes Rewards
- If you don’t have social media, you can also email us with your story and a photo at [email protected].

Reminder on Program Rules: Participants can not earn or win more than $500 in gift cards or other prizes over the course of the calendar year. If a participant meets that threshold, his or her eligibility will be reinstated once a new calendar year begins. Winners are responsible for any IRS reporting requirements and/or taxes related to prizes and incentives provided by Marin Commutes.
