The 2021 Marin Commutes Fall Campaign is open to anyone 18 years or older who commutes to, from, or within Marin County for any activity using a commute alternative to driving alone, such as carpool, vanpool, train, public bus, ferry, bicycle, walking, or working remotely from October 11 – November 21, 2021.
Participants using alternative commute modes have a chance to win weekly raffle prizes by logging commute alternative trips each week during campaign with additional points available based on completing campaign achievements provided on the My Marin Commute platform. To be eligible for the weekly raffle participants must log at least two (2) green trip logs (one round trip) during that week. Each trip log equals a raffle entry, All logs and achievements for the week must be completed at the end of the week in order to be included in the weekly drawings. Each raffle will award prizes to six (6) participants for a total of 36 winners over a six-week period. Winners will be offered a choice of $25 gifts cards or a Marin Commutes brand Hydro Flask. All prizes will be redeemed on the My Marin Commute platform.
Grand prize raffle drawings will also be conducted. The grand prize raffle drawing categories are based on the number of trips logged in the My Marin Commute System during the campaign period. Five (5) grand prize raffles will be conducted with each raffle drawing providing one prize for a total of five (5) grand prize winners. The five raffle drawing categories and prize amounts are as follows:

All trips must be logged by December 6, 2021, 11:59 pm PDT to be counted toward eligibility for the grand prize raffle drawings. The grand prize raffle drawing will take place on December 7, 2021. Winners will redeem their prize by choosing from a variety of gift cards available to them on the My Marin Commute platform.
Selected winners will be notified through the My Marin Commute system. If a selected winner does not claim their prize within a month after being contacted or is disqualified for any reason, Marin Commutes may select an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries. Each verified winner will be required to complete and submit a Terms of Eligibility, Publicity Release and Liability Waiver form provided by Marin Commutes within five (5) business days of receipt in order to claim the prize. If a selected winner cannot be reached or fails to submit the completed version of the form listed above within the required time period, that selected winner forfeits the prize.
Participants are limited to winning prizes valued at no more than $595 during a calendar year. If a participant meets that threshold, his or her eligibility will be reinstated once a new calendar year begins. Winners are responsible for any IRS reporting requirements and/or taxes related to prizes and incentives provided by Marin Commutes.
Email addresses provided by participants will be added to the Marin Commutes electronic newsletter distribution list and may be used to ask participants to complete a post-campaign online survey.
