Even if you don’t commute to work or school, you can participate in Marin Commutes Rewards! For the purposes of this program, “commuting” refers to any trip in your standard day that you need to take to, from, or within Marin County — whether it’s an appointment, errand, volunteer commitment, or another type of trip you take regularly.

Starting in October 2023, the rewards ladder will be based on commuting days.

Log your commute days to climb the gift card ladder. Earn up to three levels of gift cards totaling $100 per year!

As you log eligible commuting days, you’ll earn the gift cards in sequence, one gift card per level.

Level Logging Requirements Reward
Level 1 20 days $20 gift card
Level 2 100 days $30 gift card
Level 3 200 days $50 gift card
Climb through all 3 levels = $100 total!

But wait! There’s more!

As you log eligible commuting days in Marin Commutes Rewards, you earn different point amounts based on your commute mode.

Those points can then be redeemed for entries in prize drawings for even more gift cards.

Decide which drawings to enter and how many entries you want to redeem. Use all of your points each month or save them up for future months or the Annual Grand Prize!
